About 3PLNorth
3PLNorth helps online sellers find a fulfillment warehouse (3PL) on the right side of the Canada–US border — or on both sides — using facts from each provider's own website.
Why this site
On August 29, 2025, the United States ended duty-free de minimis treatment for low-value shipments from all countries. For many Canadian brands, shipping every order across the border as a parcel became slower and more expensive, and holding stock in a US warehouse became worth a look. Existing 3PL directories are mostly US-centric or written by a 3PL that ranks itself first. 3PLNorth is neutral and focused on the Canada–US corridor, and a French version is planned.
Who curates it
Erick Plante is based in Québec and has 35 years of experience in transportation, customs, logistics and distribution — starting in 1989 as a truck driver making deliveries across Canada and the United States. He was Vice-President, International Transportation at Axxess International (2013–2017), where he led the international transportation division, and later Vice-President, Logistics North America at Lassonde (2018–2024), leading Canada–US logistics and transportation. Earlier roles include managing transportation, customs and warehousing at Spectra Premium Industries, including C-TPAT and PIP programs and the opening of a 75,000 sq. ft. distribution centre.
He retired from corporate roles in 2024 and runs 3PLNorth independently.
How the directory works
- Every listing is built from the provider's public web pages, with the date checked and links to the pages used.
- We record only what we saw. If a service is not mentioned, we say "not stated" — we never guess.
- Results are not ranked and are not for sale. If 3PLNorth ever shows sponsored placements or referral links, they will be clearly labelled.
- Providers can add or correct their listing for free.
